Well, here it is. My second attempt at sharing my very own recipe on my very own blog, like a big(boned) girl.
Oh heyyy. I haven’t posted a “closet selfie” in a while and now I remember why... cause I look like an idiot. Anyway, I thought it’s best to show the real “today” me as I am trying to reach the real you with my keeping it real, real talk.
How many more times do you think I can say "real"? Like, for real?
Anywayyyyy, this time of year is hard for someone like me, someone in the fitness industry. Someone who’s job is fitness. Lately, it has been difficult for me to find something to talk about here. Mostly because who wants to listen to me talk about Fitness right in the middle of the holiday season? After all, there aren’t very many people who want to think about clean eating during this time of year, let alone start a fitness and nutrition program. But... I do! It’s my favorite thing to do… Take care of myself. I guess I’m just selfish like that. 🤷🏼♀️
So I know you don’t want to start a nutrition plan right now. That much is clear. I also know I won’t completely shut up until the first of the year... Cause I’m kind of obnoxious like that. So how about a compromise?
Here’s the deal, for the entire month of December I’m going to challenge you to be disciplined in some sort of way. Let’s call it Disciplined December (idea cred @joerogan) Whether it’s setting a goal to workout X amount of times per week, limiting alcohol or sugar consumption to X amount of meals per week, or even something as simple as drinking half your body weight in ounces of water per day —> for the entire month of December. (That's how much water you should be drinking on average, by the way). This part is up to you. Each week I’ll put up an accountability post on Facebook and Instagram and encourage you to check-in with me. Consider me your social media coach. For free. For the entire month of December.
You have two more days to come up with your “Disciplined December ” goal. I’m looking forward to helping you stay on point along with me.
